The water right holder is seeking a buyer for 550.7 acre-feet and 4.1 cfs of consumptive use authorization associated with two overlapping water rights from the same Snake River pump station and 5 wells: Water Right Certificates S3 01503C(B1) and S3 24900C(B1) in the Ice Harbor Pool. These water rights have historically supplied irrigation water for orchard operations on Parcel 108050043 and are now made available through a combination of land fallowing and conservation.
The authorized wells are in hydraulic continuity with the Snake and Columbia Rivers, and as a result, these water rights may be transferred or used for mitigation purposes elsewhere within the Ice Harbor Pool, within the McNary Pool on the Columbia River, downstream on the Columbia River, or to wells in continuity therewith. This water may be used for seasonal irrigation or year-round industrial uses. Additionally, they are subject to a trust water donation in 2026 to preserve this quantity until sale and transfer.
