Two surface water rights are for sale on West Fork Madison River in Madison County with 143.86 AF per year of legally transferrable consumptive volume. Currently these irrigation rights are under temporary change to instream fishery rights with a place of use of West Fork Madison River from the historical diversion to the confluence with Madison River. Historical use consisted of a trans-basin diversion from West Fork Madison River into Metzel Creek for irrigation of 323 acres in the Centennial Valley in Beaverhead County. Depending on the project, these rights could potentially be changed to other purposes for diversion and use along West Fork Madison River, Madison River, Metzel Creek or Red Rock River.
